On July 31, 2025, within the framework of Vietnam International Logistics Exhibition – VILOG 2025, Bac Giang International Logistics Center (BGL) and Vietnam Machinery Development Investment Joint Stock Company (VIMID) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking a strategic step forward in building an electric truck-based freight transportation model in Vietnam.

Under the cooperation agreement, the two parties will work together to implement an electric charging station system, including solar-powered charging stations, at Bac Giang International Logistics Center – laying the foundation for a smart, integrated green transportation ecosystem.

This collaboration aims to reduce costs, improve operational efficiency, cut emissions, and accelerate the energy transition in the logistics sector.

Mr. Vu Anh Tuan – CEO of BGL shared:
“We are not only realizing our commitment to developing green logistics at BGL but also jointly opening up opportunities and prospects for the development of an integrated, smart green logistics and transportation ecosystem connected to other strategic logistics hubs in Vietnam and internationally.”

Mr. Kieu Anh Dao – Director of VIMID emphasized:
“We believe that the cooperation between VIMID and BGL will establish a breakthrough green logistics infrastructure platform, contributing to the achievement of energy transition and emission reduction goals in the transportation sector.”

The signing ceremony was one of the highlights of VILOG 2025, demonstrating the determination and long-term vision of both BGL and VIMID in shaping the future of sustainable logistics in Vietnam.
