On the afternoon of March 13, 2025, in Bac Giang City, Bac Giang International Logistics Center participated in a conference aimed at connecting railway logistics enterprises with manufacturing companies in Bac Giang province. The event was jointly organized by the Bac Giang Department of Industry and Trade, the Agency of Foreign Trade (Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam), and the Department of Commerce of Guangxi, China.

This conference was part of the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on promoting the Vietnam-China international container railway transport route, signed in December 2024 between the Agency of Foreign Trade and the Guangxi Department of Commerce.

At the event, representatives from Bac Giang’s logistics enterprises highlighted challenges in utilizing railway transportation, particularly at Kep Station, citing limitations in cargo storage facilities and access roads from two major highways.

Through this discussion, Bac Giang logistics enterprises and local businesses proposed solutions to address bottlenecks in railway transportation, aiming to enhance the efficiency of the Kep Station intermodal railway route. The goal is to optimize freight transport from China to Bac Giang with the best possible cost and time efficiency.
