CHAIRMAN OF BAC NINH PROVINCIAL PEOPLE’S COMMITTEE AND STATE AGENCIES AND UNITS PAID A VISIT AND HOLD A WORKING SESSION AT BAC GIANG INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS CENTER.
On the morning of July 3, 2025, Bac Giang International Logistics Center (BGL) was honored to welcome comrade Vuong Quoc Tuan – Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Bac Ninh Provincial People’s Committee for an official visit and working session. This was the first destination of the Provincial Chairman on his official business trip following the merger of Bac Giang and Bac Ninh provinces.
Accompanying the Chairman was a high-level delegation including Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee – Pham Van Thinh, along with leaders of key departments such as the Department of Finance, Department of Construction, Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Agriculture & Environment, Customs Sub-Department – Region V, Secretary of Bac Giang Ward, Secretary of Tien Phong Ward (Bac Ninh Province) and representatives from the Bac Ninh Young Entrepreneurs Association.
At the working session, representing the investor’s side were Mr. Nguyen Van Hung – Chairman of CNCTECH and Chairman of the Members’ Council of Bac Giang International Logistics Center; Mr. Tran Trong Tung – Vice Chairman of the Members’ Council; along with representatives of the Executive Board including Mr. Vu Anh Tuan – General Director, Ms. Truong Thi Mui – Deputy General Director, Mr. Nguyen Dang Tuan – Deputy General Director; and the staff and employees of Bac Giang International Logistics Center.
On behalf of the company, Mr. Nguyen Van Hung presented a report on the project’s implementation progress, development orientation and specific proposals from the investor’s side. From the beginning, the project had clearly defined its development orientation toward a green-smart logistics model, integrating technology into management and operation, building infrastructure according to modern and environmentally friendly standards.
Speaking at the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan highly appreciated the investor’s proactive spirit and ambition in accelerating the project’s progress, ensuring its effective operation. He affirmed that BGL would serve as a vital link in completing the inter-regional logistics ecosystem, playing the role of a strategic transit hub for the region.
The provincial leaders also specifically directed departments and agencies to coordinate to remove obstacles for businesses:
- Complete the third phase of land allocation by July 15, 2025
- Work with the Ministry of Construction and BOT unit to accelerate the expressway connection
- Provide guidance on the addition of business code 6810
- Adjust the 1/500 scale planning to be more suitable for the modern logistics model
- Prioritize the development of multi-storey warehouses, increase land use efficiency
- Facilitate conditions for the enterprise to propose investment in frontage roads under the public–private partnership model (BT)
- Develop a plan to connect the railway and Gia Binh airport
In response to the Chairman’s directive, BGL is committed to translating this strategy into a clear and actionable plan: Building a model logistics center, integrating technology, optimizing infrastructure, and actively contributing to the development of high-tech industry in Bac Ninh – especially as the province positions itself as a national leader in the semiconductor and technology sectors.
At the end of the working session, the Provincial Chairman acknowledged the contributions of the young entrepreneurs, emphasizing that the spirit of creativity, commitment and dedication of private enterprises as a vital driving force for the nation’s sustainable development in the new era.
